The honest verdict

The ticks in that table are ours to prove, and each one is a commitment enforced in the product: every displayed rate carries a source label, every price renders in the page before any signup, the minimum deposit never exceeds the price of one order, and a failed delivery refunds your wallet automatically — the full policy is on the refunds page. The dashes are not accusations. They mean exactly what the footnote says: we could not verify the behaviour on Grizzly SMS's public pages, so we print nothing.

We won't claim to be the only site that publishes a success rate — others in the category publish figures too. The claim we will make is about us: every figure on this site names its source, and where we have none we say so. Their FAQ publishes a minimum deposit — $3 — and a concrete refund policy: if no SMS arrives within 20 minutes of purchase, the payment is automatically refunded to your site balance, with a Cancel button that returns funds early. Their API documentation is public, readable without an account, and states compatibility with the sms-activate format. When Grizzly SMS might suit you better

This section is not a formality. There are real cases where the incumbent is the sensible choice:

• Your route is one of their cheap ones. Their WhatsApp page rendered prices as low as "from $ 0.18" (Indonesia) and "from $ 0.25" (Colombia) on 3 August 2026 — their figures, in their units. If budget decides and those routes hold for your service, that arithmetic is real; verify it at their checkout.
• You're automating against the sms-activate API format. Their API docs are public, need no login to read, and state verbatim that "Our API is compatible with the sms-activate API" (read 2026-08-03). If your tooling already speaks that protocol, your switching cost there is close to zero.
• You need a country we don't carry. Their WhatsApp page alone listed dozens of countries with rendered prices (read 2026-08-03). readynum currently carries 23+ countries and 39+ services, and we would rather grow that list slowly than pad it.
• Your routes already work there and you hold a funded balance. Their refund terms are published and concrete, so you know where you stand — and switching has a cost. Our minimum-deposit rule exists to make trying us cheap, not to pretend that cost away.

Why every figure here carries a source label

The clearest evidence here is not a reviewer — it is Grizzly SMS's own FAQ. This category's standard failure is precise-looking numbers with nothing published behind them, and honest exceptions deserve naming: on refunds, Grizzly SMS publishes something concrete, including the condition under which you don't get your money back. These are their words:

Our answer to that is not a better advertised number — it's the label. On readynum, a rate is either measured from our own orders and shown with its sample size and window, a named supplier's figure passed through and marked as theirs, or the sentence “We don't have data for this route yet”. Most of our routes show the third state today, and we own that. We would rather print that sentence than sell what the reviewer above paid for.
